There are a lot of IT people here, so I hope this thread doesn’t drop like lead balloon.
So, for you SQL Server people out there. We’re right around the corner from the Professional Association of SQL Server (PASS) Summit in Seattle.
Is anyone going? Maybe we can have a mini-doper meeting there. My company is sending me; and I’m really looking forward to it. There is no traditional SQL Server training that is really any good for me at my current experience level. It will be nice to meet up with the authors of many of technical books I own; plus all the presentations.
Yes, I am attending. I am flying in Monday afternoon and back out on Friday morning, but I will be there most of the week. Perhaps a Doper table during one of the lunch breaks is in order.
It will be on your schedule, and they will mention it in the Keynotes, I am sure, but I beleive Tuesday or Wednesday evening, Microsoft rents out the Gameworks facility and hands out cards so you can play a bunch of games, and they have free food and drinks.
PM me when we get closer to the event. I am a PASS Chapter Leader so I have been a few times, and I am familiar with the Seattle facility.
