Password protect screen settings in XP?

I like to set my screen resolution at 1024 x 768, but whenever Mrs. FBG gets on my computer she changes it to 800 x 600 so that she can see the fonts better (it’s not like she doesn’t have her own computer). Is there a way that the screen settings can be password protected in XP Professional?

Do the two of you have separate user accounts? Then go in as administrator. I don’t have a copy on this computer, but I’m certain you can set permissions so only the adminitrator could make that change. Most likely, changing her access to a regular user will keep her from messing with things, but if not, there are ways to tweak the permissions to get what you want.

No, we just have a single account set up on each machine. At one time I experimented with setting up multiple accounts and having different resolution for each account, but that doesn’t work. Changing the resolution on one acct changes it for all accts.
