PC can't read a Mac-burned DVD?

I was doing a lot of work tonight, which resulted in a half-dozen MP3s residing on a Mac.

I had a flash drive with me, but I had formatted it as NTSF for reasons too long to explain. The Mac would read from it, but not write to it.

I was very bummed, & then the Mac owner said, “Hey, I’ll burn you a DVD.”

Alas, my PC won’t acknowledge the disc at all.

Am I hosed? Any ingenious third-party software that will make it work?

Can you at least take it to another Mac and put the files on your reformatted flash drive? My WAG is that the Mac guy burnt the DVD is some horrible Mac format, perhaps so it can be reused.

OP solved the problem, asked for closure.
