The first episode of season two is not a bad start. A small amount of retconning to better fit the new DCU. The new theme song isn’t at all catchy like the last one though, and the dance choreography doesn’t seem to be in any way related to the music that’s playing.
The orgy scene is like something out of The Boys. Definitely not a PG-13 episode.
They put season 1 on Cable, and I have now watched all 8, I liked the finale.

Uh, did he have a multidimensional room last time or just a regular room with outfits?
The room is the same as before (and the “previously on” footage unaltered other than cuts). Nobody went wandering about all those structures but were there in the background unexplained what they were or were not. If other doors being there is a retcon, it is only a retcon to whatever the set designer imagined and not to anything claimed in the episodes.
Last time it was The Flash, Aquman, and the silhouettes of Superman and Wonder Woman.
You know, at least Supes could have got their badly wounded teammate to the hospital faster.Of course no actor was really there.
I thought episode 3 was the best of the new season so far.
Pretty conspicuous that, unless I missed someone, every single person in the alternate dimension was white.
Show is fantastic so far. Everything is done well. Even well used cliché scenes, like the special agents’ house raid of the prior episode, are made into something special.
I think you’re right. Wasn’t conspicuous enough for me, though. TV tends to be so white anyway that it never crossed my mind.
I am shamed to also have not noticed but just fast forwarded and maybe a person or two blurry in the background but not clearly so, so yeah it seems to be the case that it is a dimension his father is very happy in. And likely made it so.
Just from a writing/plot standpoint, I’m sure we all had to know that there was something more wrong with that dimension than just Def Leppard naming a song “Pour Some Honey On Me”.
I figured something was up, but couldn’t put a finger on it, then I watched a reaction and they clocked it immediately. Mixed race group of people so they might be more attuned

Another suble thing (you can treat this as a potential spoiler if you are averse, but it is just speculation without inside info). Maybe altPeacemaker was having a thing with altFlag Jr. Look back at the awkward way altFlag talks to him. And the suprised way altBrother asks altPeacemaker about “the jarhead”. (And there is the rather flamboyant nature of altPeacemaker’s civilian wardrobe).
I was wondering if our Peacemaker is actually much more of a natural bad-ass than the AltPeacemaker. Some people seemed surprised that he went into that building without “his suit”. I wonder if these guys rely a lot more on their Iron Man type suits for their heroics. I mean, his brother’s contribution was just slamming head-first into a helicopter, and relying on the suit being tough enough to succeed.
Regarding the speculation about the other universe:
Ok, so if the other universe has actually been genocided into being all white, what do we think happened to the Justice League? Superman dead? Raised by the Klan? There are a couple minority members in the base universe, what happened to them? I feel like that’ll have to be explored at least a little.
I think there are a ton of possibilities - maybe those heroes don’t exist in that universe, or maybe they were defeated, or maybe they’re around and fighting in secret, etc.
Well, there has to be some kind of super-scientist working with the bombers. It was mentioned that the explosive would take out the whole block, which seems like a lot for the amount they were using. So it’s probably some kind of super-explosive.
The explosive is called “cefanalolol”.
2x04 is okay, but I’m really anxious to get the whole “is it a Nazi dimension” thing cleared up, and we didn’t get a moment of that. Interesting to find out that the dimensional portal is stolen, though.
