No, I would never, I love peanut butter, but mayo only goes on my tuna, egg salad, or turkey sandwich. I just don’t see it coming together as something I’d enjoy. Even if I were a bigger fan of mayo, I agree, there are some combos that do not belong together.
I’m not a fan of peanut butter and mayo sandwiches, but I do really enjoy liverwurst and Miracle Whip sandwiches (and a glass of chocolate milk.) Sardine and Miracle Whip sandwiches (and a glass of chocolate milk) are yummy favourites as well.

Peanut butter and mayo sounds absolutely nasty.
Mayonnaise outsells ketchup, mustard, and maybe salsa in the U.S. I love mayonnaise. Hellmans, yes, please. Would I put it on a peanut butter sandwich? I would not. I’ve put peanut butter on buttered toast, but I’m not at all interested in adding mayonnaise. God knows I’m fat enough, so I try to avoid a lot of both.
Ditto. I’m fond of both, but the combo does not appeal at all.
I certainly never would have considered such a combination. Microsoft Edge doesn’t appear to think it’s all that common, either, given that “mayonnaise” doesn’t appear on the list of autofill options. (“Peanut butter and banana” made the list, obviously, and “peanut butter and Julie” put some interesting pictures in my head before I discovered it’s just another food site.) But I ran across a website that dubbed it an “iconic Southern sandwich.” As much as I’ve been willing to expand my palate in my later years, I just don’t think that this is going to be something that I get around to in the near future.
(Click on the spoiler at your own risk. Nothing too bad, but it might ruin mayo for you.)
I love mayonnaise too. Several years ago a friend called it the Devil’s semen. Now I think of that every time I use it. Still love it though.
I still love it, too. Your friend mistook heavenly mayonnaise for MIRACLE WHIP, which actually is that. (When you go to hell, every night for dinner you get a cold Bar-S hot dog and a jar of the devil’s very own home-made Miracle Whip to dip it in, while watching an endless loop of Burger King, Taco Bell, Popeyes, and Joe Bob’s Barbeque Blitz commercials.)
