I have no idea where this thread belongs, so I’ll dump it here. I was reading something recently that said Emporer Penguins are 3 ft tall. Holy Shit! That’s a huge penguin! I dont know why, but I dont think I ever realized they got so big.
I dont think I’ve ever seen a picture of them next to anything except other penguins or maybe a seal or something. I would like to see some pictures of emporer penguins next to some humans, but I couldn’t seem to find any on google.
Does anyone know where there are any photos of these huge penguins standing next to people? Can any of you find any?

That all looks normal to me. But none of them look 3ft tall. If he were standing next to one of those, it would be taller than his waist?
Am I the only one who thought those things were about knee high on average?
Here’s a great video I saw just today for the first time, coincidentally. I believe it’s an Emperor penguin, but I really don’t know for sure. It also shows just how big a mackerel a penguin can swallow!
