New group forms as answer to Boy Scouts of America lifting gay ban
When someone tells you upfront they intend for something to be “masculine” it’s usually 180 degrees away from true masculinity. True masculinity has confidence at it’s core, this has fear at the center.
Not to mention it has a really stupid name.
I have a feeling this will get minimal traction for a few years, and then collapse quickly as the founders start understanding what it really takes to have a national organization.
And how hard it is to replace the cachet of Eagle Scout and a century of brand building. Limiting themselves to the Christian variety of believers will also reduce their base.
Normally this is where I’d wish them well, but those bigoted zealots can pound salt into square knots for all I care.
