One of my friends, growing up, had a mother who was a nurse. Her maiden name was Paine and he liked to talk about his mom, Nurse Pain.

My sister is a chef; however, she is not a baker, as she likes to tell people, since there seems to be some confusion since her last name is Baker.

I knew a guy named Little. He was a Major in the Army.

A white guy named Black. If he got in trouble, he’d ask if it was because he was Black.

One would imagine that Catholic priests named Cohen are as rare as foreskins on a circumcised penis.

Cohen is a very common Jewish name. In addition, if your last name is Cohen, there is a very good chance that you are descended from the kohanim, the traditional priests of Judaism.

Ah right. Cohen is also an Irish name though, or are these Irish Cohens from the same stock too?
