pepsi drinker switches to coca cola

I’m talking about how you feel after attending a party up there, not showing by error of why spell check doesn’t always work.

There’s a Mexican restaurant over here that just switched from Coke to Pepsi. Seems everybody was asking for Pepsi and they gave in to demand. Evidently it works, folks!

Damn, I wish I had room in my sig for that.

On preview, it looks like I do have enough room after all. May I?

Sorry to come in here and start dictating everyone’s drinking habits, but this is for your own good. From this day forth, you will follow my decree:

Give up all your wretched colas.

Drink Fresca and be happy.
(I only insist because I care about you all.)

Um, sure. I seem to have found my way into a couple of people’s sigs recently. I’d be honored if you carried the message with you to other threads.

Thank you. Horseflesh.

my mother said “you drink too much mountain dew, you will blow up your kidneys” the images that brings to mind are scary as hell! eww yuck blown up renal tissue inside me.

i mostly drink diet dr pepper. occasionally a pepsi never ever coke.

one thing that has always bugged me tho, the ad slogan “diet dr pepper tastes more like regular dr pepper” my question is THAN WHAT??? pepsi? well i would hope so!

As a kid/teen, I never had a strong preference, but I would usually choose Coke over Pepsi out of habit.

A few years ago, I discovered that I really liked Pepsi a lot better than Coke. Coke is too thick and caramelly. (dark-tasting… like molasses, or mole asses)

Then I decided to switch to diet to avoid the calories. I hated Diet Pepsi though. So artificial tasting… then I tried Diet Coke. I was amazed! Diet Coke actually tastes more like a diet version of Pepsi than a diet version of Coke!

So now I am a Diet Coke drinker, and for the occasional treat, I’ll grab a Pepsi.

Coke was originally intended to be poured over ice, and slightly diluted, that’s why it seems thicker than many other soft drinks. Also, Diet Coke was designed as a whole new soda, it was not a tweaking of the Coke recipe, thus it makes sense that it tastes more like Pepsi. (Pepsi was doing their marketing blitz and was winning all the taste tests at the time of Diet Coke’s creation)

Diet Pepsi tastes like crap to me, but it seems from this thread some Coke drinkers prefer Diet Pepsi to Diet Coke. Interesting…

Was that like real coca cola syrup?
My mother used to give me that when sick.
It always made me throw up.
Tasted great, though!

You tell 'em brother!!! Dreaded Cuthulu can I get an AMEN!
