Pepsi is just so 1980’s. Coke spanked Pepsi in the rivalry a long time ago. Anyway, Coke tastes more distinct and is an American icon.

COKE for sure. It just has a nicer harsher taste. Pepsi is too sweet and like the others have stated generic tasting… I’d as soon have Sam’s Choice cola as Pepsi.

Neutron star, I used to be quite the coke drinker in my youth ( mom 'n dad wouldnt let pepsi in the house) and i think That Burger king has the best fountain coke, they have the best sprite too. As a matter of fact As much as I love pepsi, I love sprite even more. And Sunkist orange soda beats all.

Pepsi is the best, no comparison. especially on the rocks. sweet
I hate Sprite and Sunkist. I always still feel thirsty when I’ve drunk them. Not sure why.

COKE! Of course, I’m a Dr Pepper kind of gal but my second choice is always coke. I will not drink Pepsi, it’s just too flat for me.

Pepsi , definitely. Diet Pepsi to be exact (I prefer diet pop for the taste, believe it or not).

Regular Coke over regular Pepsi any day. Regular Pepsi has no flavor! It just tastes like carbonated sugar water blech. However Coke actually has a flavor to it.
But!
Diet Pepsi will beat Diet Coke any day. That stuff is rancid nasty bad.
However, in the end I prefer Dr. Pepper to all of them.
You know, earlier today I was going to post:

However, since then I tried Vanilla Diet Coke, and that’s all I’m gonna be drinking until they discontinue it because I’m the only one drinking it.
(Note that I’ve been ordering “Diet Coke with Vanilla” from Sonic for 10+ years now, so I’ve prepared myself well for this blessed day.)

I’ve done the most un-American thing possible.
After being a lifetime Coke and diet Coke drinker,
I recently switched to diet Pepsi twist, because I
found out that I like it much better than Coke
or diet Coke or Coke with Lemon, etc.
Now I just have to figure out where I’m supposed
to turn in my passport…
Diet Coke all the way. That and coffee is all I drink.
Pepsi, in all it’s various forms, is blech. I’ll drink it if I need the caffeine and there is no other alternative - otherwise it’s lemonade or water. As others have said - tasteless sugarwater. And can someone answer this - how does something that tastes so flat give you such bad burpy gas? Diet Coke doesn’t do that.
