I really hate to nitpick, since I’m as annoyed as you are by his punctuation…but what he’s doing wrong is inserting a space BEFORE the punctuation , right ? AFTER punctuation,there SHOULD be a space.I think.

I’d hate to be accused of goading someone into behavior which causes them to be banned. This seems to be a good time to take a break from the SDMB. I will be absent for a week, until the morning of Wednesday, June 20th.
I think most of us do not like posters who say “This is my last post”; "No, this one is really my last post; “OK - I’m not kidding now, this is it”; “One final point” and so on. Please feel free to mock me as a pompous hypocrite if I return before next Wednesday.
