Well my estimation of my fellow dopers has risen, I checked all forums in the dope and no one had posted anything of Torontos little cat fight early this morning.
Seems that Perez Hilton had a little tete et tete with members of the Black Eyed Peas and came off somewhat worse for wear. As befitting his gossip whore-ness, he valiantly posts on twitter that he has been assaulted by a member of the Peas, who turned out to be the Manager.
Said manager has been since charged by the Gallant members of the Toronto police department, most likely 52 division, on what charge I have yet to see, but common assault would probably be the ticket.

Anyways , the mocking on twitter has begun in earnest. Right now its going at about 4 to 1 in favor of the Peas, and the ones are more about non violence and stuff.
Oh the humanity , first we have Torontos finest charging a baseball player for hitting a seagull, then the Madonna thing, and now Perez and the peas, truly the cops are amassing an impressive rap sheet for celebs. Not really a dig at the cops , but I am sure that this is gonna go the way of most celeb cat fights and the Peas pay a fine and hopefully Perez gets a warning about hate speech.
It would be funny if Perez ended up being denied re-entry into Canada for hate speech.
Hilton originally tweeted that will.i.am, the main Black Eyed Pea(?), was the one that punched him. All the while posting about how bloody he was and begging someone to call the police. While he’s on his phone. Tweeting.
He was determined to overblow this and milk as much dramatic publicity as he could. Truly traumatized, he is.
“Perez Hilton gets some lady lumps”? I sincerely thought this thread was going to be about him taking pre-sex change hormones and starting to develop breasts.
The arm of justice is long and just might punch you on the head if you tempt it long enough. This made my day. I love the part in his video-explanation where he’s freaking out about going back to his hotel. To paraphrase, (be sure to read in hysterical, whiney, bitchy voice) “…and THEN we’re going back to our hotel, and I’m like BLEEDING, wondering if my eye is gonna fall out AND THE BLACK EYED PEAS are FOLLOWING us back to the hotel, where they were also staying.” Comedy friggin gold!!!
If it was, in fact, Will I Am who decked him, give him a parade. If it was the manager who blind-sided him, fine him the $1. Okay, two. I abhor violence.
Much as I am amused by Perez’ vlog, I sadly have to agree with him that violence is never the answer. He is a tool of the highest order who was spoiling for a fight but, again, the one who takes it physical is wrong. Period.
Eh, violence is almost never the answer. Perez spits more snarky, hateful venom in a week than a lot of people do in a lifetime. I consider him an exception. Plus, we’re not talking about a stabbing or shooting or even a brutal beat down. He got decked. I’m surprised it took this long to happen.
