…is not the last line of the movie. This is:
“All right. Come on, clear the area. On the sidewalk. On the sidewalk, get off the street.”

“Why don’t we just wait here for a little while… see what happens?”
“Jack, I swear…” from Brokeback Mountain.
Really? After all these years I now have to go find a new favourite last line to a movie because some minor characters couldn’t stop chattering? This sucks. AND I thought it was one of those rare movies where the last line was also the title of the movie. Ah well - thanks for letting me know. Ignorance (and cloth ears) fought.
It is nitpicking of my part there, as it is the penultimate line.
Hot Shots, whose credits also included such things as a recipe for brownies.
Also, IIRC, the last line of RoboCop is:
“My friends call me Murphy. You can call me… RoboCop.”
Although now that I type it, it mighta been RoboCop 3.
I’m sure someone has mentioned War of Honor by David Weber, but I’m gonna say it again:
“Goodbye, Citizen Commissioner.”
I was about to throw in Neil Patrick Harris’s monologue at the end of StarShip Troopers, except that wasn’t the last line. In fact, Johhny, Zim, AND the propaganda narrator all had lines afterwards which weren’t nearly as cool.
From the TV show Due South, there’s a great ending monologue, but it’s a bit long, so I’ll cut out everything except for the last and best bit:
“…and off we went to find the hand of Franklin reaching for the Beaufort Sea and if we do find his hand, the reaching out one, we’ll let you know.”
“I leave it entirely in your hands.”
A-hah, RoboCop 3 it is:
The CEO: Well, I gotta hand it to ya… what do they call you? Murphy is it?
Robocop: My friends call me Murphy. You call me… Robocop.
'Tis a far better thing that I do than I have ever done; a far better place that I go to than I have ever known.
From ninth grade literature class. I thought that so eloquently summarized his sacrifice.
ZUZU: Look, Daddy. Teacher says, every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings.
GEORGE BAILEY: That’s right, that’s right. Attaboy, Clarence.
Life was such a wheel that no man could stand upon it for long. And it always, at the end, came round to the same place again.
The Stand–from memory
From Reefer Madness, The Musical
(to the tune of the last few measures of “America the Beautiful”)
Lecturer: “When Danger’s near, exploit their fear!”
Book-burning-mob: “The ends will justify the means!”
You really should watch this movie, it’s fun, the songs are catchy and funny, and it’s got the girl from Veronica Mars in a dominatrix outfit for half of a song.
That’ll do pig. That’ll do.
I can’t remember them exactly, but the last lines of narration from A Christmas Story are great.
I think I’ll have a drink.
Mr. Hammond, I’ve decided not to endorse your park.
I’ll be right here.
A PUPPY!
Keep watching the skies. Keep watching the skies.

“And the answer was a mighty roar in many tongues, from many ages—the voice of Man, that would soon be heard among the stars.” - A Plague of Demons
A little context for those who haven’t read the book :
“It was a condition of their parole that they never meet again.”
“Go and love some more.”
“All right, just shut that off now, sonny–”
My favourite from amongst many by Hemingway is the end of his short story My Old Man:
And George Gardner looked at me to see if I’d heard and I had all right and he said, “Don’t you listen to what those bums said, Joe. Your old man was one swell guy.”
But I don’t know. Seems like when they get started they don’t leave a guy nothing.
“Mediocrities everywhere… I absolve you… I absolve you… I absolve you… I absolve you… I absolve you all.”
“Aaaaaaaaaaah, sweet mystery of life, at last I’ve fouuuuuuund you…”
“Eliza?..Where the devil are my slippers?”
“As you wish.”

My absolute favorite was technically the second last line of the final monologue, and every time I hear that monologue, I still get a bit misty, even almost a decade later …
“Mostly though, it gave us hope that there can always be new beginnings … even for people like us.”
The actual last line was: “And as for Delenn, every morning, for as long as she lived, she got up before dawn and watched the sun come up”
House, 97 Seconds, as he’s standing over the dead patient’s body.
“I’m sorry to say… I told you so.”
Damn.
