BTW, the nylon, quilted(ish), Army poncho liner in timeless camo green is the BEST, warmest, most lightweight addition to the collection of bed covers that this Princess (me) needs to regulate her comfort during warm or cool nights. If I ever have another date (which is unlikely) how the guy reacts when he sees that on my bed will tell me a lot about him…
For those not in the know, fall in SA is our rainy season, where the daily high temperatures drop to 60-75 degrees. The ’s here were are stupid in that they all don’t drop their leaves at once, no, winter’s approach here is so mild that one oak will drop in October, another in December, and the third in February. Yay. But my grass is green all winter and last Christmas I grilled some ribs, so despite these horrible conditions, we bear through.
I have green grass all year, but, then, I’m from ‘back east’ and, therefore, have forgotten more about lawn maintenance than the average San Antonian will ever learn.
For about two months a couple of years ago, this was my perfect, tiny, idyllic, grassy back yard. But then too much deep shade doomed the lawn, and I had it replaced with this cute, low maintenance deck put in. It’s even cuter at night.
