Beautiful eyes!

That Stanley is a beauty boy!

Dean the Guinea pig is staying with us this weekend while his family is out of town. Here’s our Irving sharing a kiss with Dean.

Got a little chilly here night before last. Yesterday morning, I spotted a bump in the middle of my bed.

What could it be? It’s Tikva the Burrower.

BTW, the nylon, quilted(ish), Army poncho liner in timeless camo green is the BEST, warmest, most lightweight addition to the collection of bed covers that this Princess (me) needs to regulate her comfort during warm or cool nights. If I ever have another date (which is unlikely) how the guy reacts when he sees that on my bed will tell me a lot about him…

Her little tri-colored face! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

The bed sprouted another bump this morning! :heart_eyes_cat:

I guess fall has finally landed on San Antonio, eh @JohnT?

Finally!

For those not in the know, fall in SA is our rainy season, where the daily high temperatures drop to 60-75 degrees. The :deciduous_tree:’s here were are stupid in that they all don’t drop their leaves at once, no, winter’s approach here is so mild that one oak will drop in October, another in December, and the third in February. Yay. But my grass is green all winter and last Christmas I grilled some ribs, so despite these horrible conditions, we bear through.

Back to the thread!

Winter is the ONLY time I have green grass. The rest of the time it’s brown dirt with scrubby weeds.

Okay, NOW back to cute pets!

I have green grass all year, but, then, I’m from ‘back east’ and, therefore, have forgotten more about lawn maintenance than the average San Antonian will ever learn. :stuck_out_tongue:

For about two months a couple of years ago, this was my perfect, tiny, idyllic, grassy back yard. But then too much deep shade doomed the lawn, and I had it replaced with this cute, low maintenance deck put in. It’s even cuter at night.

She’s kitty-camo, not tri-colored. Very adaptive.

My son #1 is newly in San Antonio, y’all be nice to him if you see him.

Lazy evening

Look at those fuzzy feet!

Get that camera out of my face…

Shadow trying to convince me that his life is hard

I gently stroked his velvety pink suede nose, did he like it?

He’s adorable.

Yes, he did, but he (and his sister) prefer chin scritches.

Which he is demanding right now!

Got another one! DISCALIMER: My SO is the one with the shutter-button finger - not me:

I tried the upload button, but it said my pic was too big.

Hugs!
