Phil Plait, the Bad Astronomer, has written his last blog for Syfy Wire. He said he was going to continue, but didn’t say where. Does anyone know what his new site is?
I want to say it is a substack site. He definitely announced it on Twitter so if you check back through his feed you should find it.

I was on the fence about paying for a subscription until yesterday, but his explanation of the JWST’s newly released image of the “Pillars of Creation” in M16 pushed me over. He can be a little too enthusiastic in his writing at times for me, but the guy can definitely communicate effectively about some astronomical concepts that would otherwise be difficult to grasp. It’s less than $5 per month.
