My mother is in poor health, and she falls a lot. After falling a week and a half ago, she drove to the hospital and was taken to a rehab facility. She came home yesterday, but her back is very painful and she couldn’t drive home so her car is still at the first hospital. I talked to her this morning, and she says she can’t drive. She was going to ask a neighbour to pick up the car for her. In case the neighbour can’t do it, is there any chance a Phoenix Doper can take it to her? She lives in Peoria.
Glad to hear it. Easy to say now, but I applied for guest privledges just to respond to this thread. I live in in Glendale, but work next door to Arrowhead Mall in Peoria. The Board remembered my username from over two years ago, but my 30 days had long since expired. So, I ponied up the 15 bucks to keep my screen name.
So, I don’t get to perform this specific act of random kindness, but I do get to post again.
Thanks for the thought. I’m going down for Thanksgiving, and I’ll help Mom pack while I’m there. She’s decided she’s going to sell her house (which she and her late husband bought just over a year ago) and move to San Diego so she can be near my sister.
