Is it actually a free service? I’ve looked into some of these photo hosting sites that were seemingly free, but the fine print stated that I would actually be agreeing to purchase X amount of services from them. I did look through Photobucket’s FAQs and didn’t see anything to this effect, but confirmation from a user or two would be swell. After all, they don’t call it fine print because they want you to find it.
I’vve had Photobucket for a year and more now, and have never had to pay for it. I think you can upgrade to some other level and get more space or something, I dunno, but since they resize all my pics anyway I don’t get close to using up the space. Thus not needing the bigger badder Photobucket.
I don’t recall if I tried them, but after much frustration with photo sites I just went with Yahoo photos. Totally free with unlimited storage capacity and an easy interface to work with.
Photobucket is free, with a premium service if you want more space and bandwidth.
It’s free, but if you overload your album all your pic links come up with a little sign saying you’ve exceeded your bandwidth or the pic has been removed
That’s who I use. No probs, no charge.
