Yeah, you shout that out at work often enough, people are gonna start noticing.
I often give people The Lood (see ~posts 14 and 15).
Everytime someone says “the horror!” I think “The horror…of blimps.”
Also the previously mentioned, “Is that a leg?”
I have adopted “Og” into my everyday vocabulary. It’s perfect! Even non-religious people use common expressions like “God damn it!” and “Thank God!” without meaning them literally. “Og” now allows me to do that without making people think I actually believe in God.* And people seem to know just what I mean.
*You know how some people hate being perceived as something they’re not – gay, for example? I’m sort of that way with religion. I find it mildly offensive when people assume I share their superstitions, and I hasten to set them straight.
I can’t find a link, but someone started a thread about a woman having 10 children who was living in a one bedroom apartment. Somone else posed “Lady, it’s a vagina, not a clown car.”
I’ve used the phrase too, having to deal with single mothers who think it is a clown car.
