Pi Water?

Someone gave me the link http://www.pi-water.com and I was initially skeptical since it makes a lot of claims about “life force” and “bio-energy.” But a little bit of searching turned up an article about how it can increase NK activity in vivo.

http://www.aegis.com/pubs/aidsline/1998/feb/M9820768.html

It’s a 1998 article, so perhaps it is outdated. Anybody know anything about this stuff?

Hmmm … the first link in the OP says that “pi water” is made:

“By having water go through Pi Ceramic, which posesses information of Fe2,3, and copy the information in it.”

Bad grammar aside (the webpage was obviously written in Japanese and then crudely translated into English), this sounds awfully similar to the idea of “molecular memory” so prevalent in homeopathy.
As to the second link in the OP, I notice that (A) the trial was only conducted on 5 subjects, and (B) there was no placebo group to compare their results with.

The fact that the article is four years old AND you haven’t heard about it should tell you something.

I looked at the web releases for pi-water. I have never seen such a load of rubbish in my life. They sprinkle their text with scientific terms (infrared frequencies, pi-mesons etc) without having a clue what they are talking about.

I have a really beautiful bridge that I can sell you real cheap.

Mmmmmmmm…pi water…mmmmmmmmm

PI-MESONS? From passing the water through a couple of ceramic plates?!?!

What, are those ceramic plates made of antimatter or something?

They’re made from di-lithium crystals. Duh.

Just for the record, there really is a substance called “dilithium oxide” (Li[sub]2[/sub]O). And I believe it exists in crystalline form at room temperature.

Spoilsport.

I take it the H in the middle of the first word is silent?

“Fie” on you, Poly, “fie.”

Harumph! I’m a 32nd degree Pi-mason and…what? Oh. Whoops. :o Sorry. Carry on.
