I just downloaded Picasa and had it grab only JPGs. On the left it has a long list of all the different folders. I seem to be able to only delete one folder at a time. I would like to be able to it the regular way (press SHIFT then click on folder 1 and then click on folder 10, let’s say, and then right click and delete). It doesn’t seem like I am able to do it in Picasa. Am I right or how do I do it?
Not sure if you can do that, but here are two workarounds:
-
To just remove a folder from Picasa (but still keep it on your hard drive), go in Picasa to Tools -> Folder Manager and remove the folders you don’t want from there.
-
To delete them from your hard drive altogether, find a folder in Picasa, go to its parent (the folder that contains it) and push CTRL-ENTER. That’ll open the folder up in Windows Explorer and you can use the regular shift-select method there.
