Pick the only Beatles song you can ever listen to again, ever.

Yep.

Another vote for “And Your Bird Can Sing,” but I’d probably change my mind tomorrow! Dad raised me on these songs, and as a family we’d play and sing them. “You Know My Name” is fun, but I’d hate to lose out on, you know, having any lyrics to console me…

It’s a dead heat between And I Love Her, and I’ll Follow The Sun.

Abbey Road Medley
or
Because

I would pick Guitar Gently Weeps (Best. Beatles. Ever.) A close second would be the fast version of Revolution. First hard rock song ever (or was The Kinks You Really Got Me first?)

that song was written to sound unBeatle, to sound like some other band. i’d go with that too.

You Really Got Me is usually recognized as the godfather of heavy metal (and predates *Revolution *by 3 years). John Lennon claimed *I Feel Fine *was the first intentional feedback on a record.

Rock and Roll Music. Yes, I know it was a cover (and has been recovered by just about everyone) but I think the Beatles did it the best.

Yeah, I love their version of Money, originally a Motown song co-written by Berry Gordy.

I haven’t posted to this thread simply because the OP doesn’t compute.
I suppose I could say that if I could only listen to one album it would be Revolver (including the single Rain, recorded at the same time), but don’t think I could narrow it down much further.

But so many songs connect into the full Beatles’ tapestry - Lennon’s sturdy Dylan study Hide Your Love Away; Paul’s perfect melodies and chords for deep-cut numbers like Things We Said Today. Each song comes loaded.

Im amazed it took 20posts for Let It Be to turn up.

My vote is for Norwegian Wood though.

I also vote for Norwegian Wood, with Ticket to Ride second.

Ringo’s version of Good King Wenceslaslas on the Christmas Album has to be up there as well.
