Maybe this is an IMHO, but it’s also music…
Gun to your head. You must EITHER pick ONE favorite Beatles song, or say that you don’t like the Beatles.
What ONE song?
Hey Jude

It changes regularly (there are dozens of contenders)… but at the moment, I’d go with “Hey Bulldog.”
She Loves You (Yeah, Yeah Yeah). Not becuse it’s the best, but because it whisks me right back to when I first heard it, when I was six years old and my older sister got her first Beatles records. We would play them and dance around like idiots, wildly shaking our heads at the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs.
Like astorian, mine changes. But right now it’s I Feel Fine.
I have a special place in my heart for “Drive My Car,” because I heard it unexpectedly on the radio once when I was in a bad mood and it perked me right up.
Otherwise, “Get Back”.
Mine changes pretty much all the time, but right now I think I’ll go with Paperback Writer.
Here comes the sun
Not an easy choice, but…Julia.
I could second guess myself endlessly, but the first one that springs to mind is “In My Life.”
Right now if I had to pick one, based on my mood at this moment, I would have to say “Penny Lane”.
Here, There, and Everywhere
it’s perpetually between a day in the life and dear prudence those are my two favorites and depending on the day, one of those is my favorite, with a close third being eleanor rigby
but as most people point out, picking a favorite beatles song is like picking a favorite child…
All of the above, but I’m partial to In My Life at the moment.
“While my guitar gently weeps.”
“Here Comes the Sun”
“Penny Lane”
Tomorrow Never Knows has been my favorite since the first time I heard it.
“All You Need Is Love”
My Co-worker says “For No One”, off of Revolver, a lesser known track. Anyone got an opinion of it? I don’t know it.
One of the most relentlessly depressing songs I’ve ever heard. It’s about a woman leaving her boyfriend/husband/lover. Some of the lyrics: “In her eyes, you see nothing, no sign of love behind the tears cried for no one, a love that should have lasted years.”
