Mine is easily Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. The instrumentals are dreamy. I love the bass + fuzzy guitar interplay during the chorus especially…It sounds so nostalgic somehow.
I Saw Her Standing There.
I honestly don’t think I can pick just one. I could probably do favorite five.
Please Please Me. The original singles mix with the botched lines.
Then the list gets crowded, with most of the Help! soundtrack represented.
It’s hard to have perspective after listening to these songs for fifty years. But, “A Day In The Life” is a real masterpiece.
If I had to pick one, it’s be “Hey, Bulldog.”
Or the Abbey Road Medley, if you consider that one song.
Impossible to answer.
This Boy
Not a Second Time
I Want to Hold Your Hand
I Feel Fine
Help
I Want You
Old Brown Shoe
Here Comes the Sun
I’m not usually a fan of the overly sentimental, but In My Life is the exception.
All You Need Is Love.
You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away
…and Martha My Dear
…and Within You, Without You
…and For No One
“For No One” is a great answer. Paul at his absolute finest.

So many great ones, it’s hard to pick one. I’ll also say “In My Life.” Ask me again tomorrow, and I may have a different answer. Ask me again Monday, and I may have a third answer.
Huh? The original singles mix on both the Parlaphone 45 “dry mix” and the VeeJay 45 (USA) are mono, with John’s mistake(s) corrected. My understanding is that the vocal flubs were present only in stereo (album) releases of the song.
Edit: PPM is one of my very favorite Fabs songs, and in my opinion is the “best” 45 ever recorded.
Another vote for, “A Day In The Life.”
I sit corrected.
Favorite Beatles song? That’s something that changes all the time. Right now, it’s “Day Tripper”.
You Know My Name (Look up the number)…just kidding!
I Will
How about “here comes the Sun King”? I’ve always liked that one.
Eleanor Rigby. (I know an awful lot of very lonely people…and the music is pretty.)
Yellow Submarine is next: silly, but fun.
I have many, many favorites, and #1 changes regularly.
Right now, #1 might be “Ticket to Ride.” It’s always near the top.
