I’ve never done this, so let’s see if it works. Thank goodness my kids are more tech-savvy than I am, or I’d have to send out crayon drawings of Vivian and her adoptive sibling Six.

How did Viv lose her eye? It doesn’t look like an accident, just like someone forgot to sew the left eye on a teddy bear or something, lol. Very cute!

In short, a friend of mine rescued Vivian after she’d been taped into a box, enclosed in a garbage bag, and left in the landfill. He found her after he’d loaded 85K pounds of trash onto his semi and driven it 100 miles to be baled at another facility. She apparently was injured sometime before or during her ordeal, and the eye was ulcerated that it had to be removed. I suspect (my friend never said) that there were other kittens abandoned with her, and maybe one of them scratched her. She was the only survivor, poor bug. Luckily her trauma seems to have not affected her bossy personality. 
I have two other cats, too, btw, but I had to put a picture of Six up because they look so much like sisters. Six is unamused by the whole idea. But my deaf cat, Trouble, who doesn’t like ANYone…likes the new kitten! Vivian just tackles him and he can’t resist her combination of cuteness and chutzpah.
I would love to get my hands around the neck of whoever did that to her. She looks happy and healthy now - I’m glad you were able to take her in and giver her the loving home she deserves!
I recently had the right eye of my little (10-year-old) girl removed due to a bad case of uveitis/cataract/glaucoma. She’s still adjusting and isn’t acting her old self yet. Kittens take big changes like these so much better.

When the hair grows in enough to cover the scar, she’ll be even prettier. Although that one eye is so bright it’s almost startling when you catch her attention–it’s like a big golden searchlight!
How can someone live with themselves after doing something like that? In any case, Vivian looks to have landed on her…paws.
