Picture from the late 70s/early 80s

OK, when all else fails… come to the teemings.

Does anybody remember that picture (and for some reason I associate it with the Guinness Book of World Records or maybe Real People) of the two, erm… shall we say… plump, twins riding mini bikes? I figured that a pic like that would have to be somewhere on the internet, but I have not been able to find it. I’ve tried Google Image search, but apparently I’m not using the right keywords.

Can anybody provide a link?

TIA

The McCrary twins are your fellas, but I can’t find the photo. The photographer was John Page.

I’ve yet to find the picture - although I can see it in my head. I’m pretty sure these are the blokes: Benny and Billy McGuire.

Bill and Benny McCrary. From this page.

Billy and Benny McGuire (McCrary)
(born Dec. 7, 1946 in Henderson, NC)

Billy weighed 743 pounds and Benny weighed 723 pounds and each had 84-inch waists. They were normal in size until age 6 when both contracted German measles. They were tag-team wrestlers as adults (a Guinness Book photo of the pair is shown to the right). Billy died on July 13, 1979 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada in an automobile accident. Benny passed away on March 26, 2001 in North Carolina due to heart failure. They were married to a pair of Canadian sisters, Danielle and Maryce, who weighed 115 and 130 pounds, respectively.

Pic but not the one you’re looking for…

Ice Wolf’s is the photo that I remember, but I also found this one. Scroll to the bottom of the page.

Still not quite the right pic, I suspect, but closer (scroll to bottom).

I knew you guys wouldn’t let me down!

I do remember the pic with them on the motorcycles with the cowboy hats now that I see it, but I distinctly remember a pic with two guys on mini-bikes… almost like they were in a parade or something. I want to say there were people in the background standing along the curb. Maybe it was another set of twins.

Thanks everyone!
