Gee, an antiwar march in Portland had a high turnout. Color me shocked.
You could have an antiwar march in years without a war, and get near that much there.
Weren’t the protests this year relatively small, from the news that I heard?

I had not heard that the number of people espousing a belief (eg, “Invading Iraq was a poor idea.”) has any connection with the truth or falsehood of that idea. Or in other words, perhaps they’d rather be right than be popular.
Which has nothing to do with the Portland rally, which apparently drew thousands.
I saw one guy holding a sign about “the democrats war against unborn babies” :rolleyes:
