Where and when would I be able to join an anti-war demonstration?

I live fairly close to Portland, OR and I’d like to know where I could find info on where peacefull anti-war demonstrations will be held this coming weekend and next week.

Could anybody give me any information on this? I always hear about the demonstrations but I don’t know where and when they are held.

I know there are protests going on in Portland as I’m writing this, but I don’t want anything to do with them right now. They are taking place without a permit and they are blocking traffic.

A good place to start would be a big university. You got any big universities in Portland, Oregon? Call their student newspaper and ask them.

You could also check with the police or sheriff to see who’s gotten permits and where they will be.

Keep speaking truth to power. Don’t let the policeman turn you 'round!

I do believe you’re a bit late…

I think that anyone who subscribes to the anti war movement, didn’t lose someone on 9/11. God Bless America!

That’s nice.

At the protest I went to, they directed people to unitedforpeace.org for this sort of question. They seem to have a fairly extensive database, and here’s one event I found:

Let’s not discuss the politics of engaging in peaceful legal protests, pro or con. If you’re not posting in this thread to answer the factual question, you shouldn’t be posting here at all.
