Pictures that warm the cockles of your heart (anything goes)

Great pics, Savannah! What is the story behind those shots?

First off, because I’ve been known to hold grudges, this webpage, showing my old living quarters, always gives me a smile. She’s dead! Muahhahahahaha! Kaput! Razor blades! Gloat! Wallow! Gloat! Gloat!

My response to it lies somewhere in between yours and Burnt Sugar’s. I make some sound in the back of my throat that starts off sounding like a baby’s giggle, then turns into strange hiccups. If I look at it too long, I dissolve into uncontrollable giggles, like a female Butthead. I don’t know why.

I just don’t know.

The College Humor website usually runs more to fart jokes and girls flashing their boobs, but this video of three young boys in a talent show is cute and worksafe.

Here’s one of our kitten, Fuzzy Face, getting a bath from her adoptive big brother. Aw, do you hafta do that?

I don’t know. A co-worker forwarded the first one of the dogs in the boat, and I tried to find it online by Google image search, and that’s how I found the second one.

Dogs. Dolphins. They made me :).

I took this duckie picture over the summer DUCKIE!

He was only about 2-3 days old and tiny.

There’s a handful more from the same day here

Oooh Oooh a chance to show off my new addition. She is about two years old, and has been with me about a week.

Herfirst day at her new home.

The Terror Alert Banana always made me smile.

My boy.

Yeah, I’m biased because of my own Westie dog. So?

Oh,wait, “…of your heart” … nevermind… :stuck_out_tongue:

A precious feral kitty photographed in Sicily. She’s currently my screensaver.

I’ll take the sink kitties and the koala, please.

Figures you’d like that picture.

Must be the altitude or maybe the proximity to Oklahoma, but nobody I work with thinks this is funny. I’ve had it saved as my computer wallpaper for years now and I giggle at it nearly every day. Hell, I’m laughing my butt off right now and folks are looking at me like I’m nuts…hey, they don’t know.

That is a pretty funny looking animal.

Here is a picture of the coyote in the Los Angeles Zoo. I took his/her picture because the Los Angeles Zoo is in Griffith Park, which is a large area of wildlands where many coyotes live. In fact, it’s common for people who live in Los Feliz (formerly Madonna and Leonardo DiCaprio) to come across small packs of coyotes wandering around on city streets.

So this animal is in a really small enclosure which is enclosed in a place where s/he would be living otherwise. S/he just paces back and forth, in a really nervous way. I’m not a PETA person, and I imagine s/he isn’t mistreated. Still, I really wanted to let the animal go free in it’s natural habitat, which is just outside of the fence which delineates the Los Angeles Zoo.

A photo of Harborwolf and our daughter a few weeks after she was born. Eek! that was eight years ago!!!

Cats do the weirdest things!

My three favorites.

:dubious:

Chihuahua/Spaniel, actually.

And I use him for baby practice. Billy like to jump up on the bed and wake me up five or six times a night, so I figure I’ll be all set for when the baby comes.
