I only know him from America’s Got Talent…but it sounds like the same deal if someone like (as this board would say) Glenn Beck got a show in England (or, personally, I’d vote for Bill Mahr since I hate him more than words can express)
What annoys me about *Real Time with Bill Maher *is that Bill frequently gets in good panels with a variety of viewpoints who make interesting points, and then interrupts them to make stupid jokes. I often wish he’d introduce them and go away. Or just go away.
Beck would be closer but still not there as Beck is more a clown, Morgan was a cunt. Morgan was obstensibly on the left of UK politics BTW. Don’t think that people don’t like him because he’s a right wing guy or anything like that. It’s his smugness and general cuntitude that most people don’t like about him.
I agree that Maher should shut up more and let his panel speak.
Yeah Piers Morgan is bad but he’s not Glen Beck bad, although they both make me weep and simultaneously vomit for humanity.
They both don’t know when to stop, they lack empathy, they don’t do any real research into what they’re talking about. Beck is a horrible lying dimwit and so is Piers Morgan but in a completely different way.

I’m puzzled by CNN’s decision. I thought they were trying out potential replacements for the past year. I’ve lost track of the people that sat in for Larry. Joy Behar has filled in the most. Stephanie Miller has guest hosted too. Funny that CNN grabs some Brit that has never filled in for Larry.
I’ll be surprised if Piers lasts a year before getting canceled.
