If Captain Jack Sparrow is among the cursed, how does he get drunk on the island?

his crew mutineed (sic) before the deal with stealing the treasure?
He’s not among the cursed because he wasn’t with the pirates when they took the cursed gold, having been abandoned on that tiny island. He’s only cursed, temporarily, when he steals some of the gold later on.

Because I get confused about whether spoilers means that there are boxed spoilers or unboxed spoilers contained in the thread. But, since, as you say, it really isn’t a spoiler, no harm no foul, savvy?
He didn’t.
At least not right away. He was probably strapped to the cannon all those years in the Marians Trench - sorry. I mean in the ocean. And couldn’t untie himself because no key/fingers swollen/whatever. And died when the curse was removed.
Aes, even my fave actors I probably haven’t seen more than 10 of their movies. I just meant Johnny Depp was quite cool in Pirates.
The Marianas Trench is near the Philippines, on the other side of the world from the Caribbean.
