Sorry for the question, but this has been bugging me for years. My pisiform (the round little bone on the outside of the wrist) sticks out far more than on any other wrist I’ve ever seen. Is this a common genetic trait like connected earlobes and hitchhiker’s thumb, or am I just a freak?
All I could find is this (a definition) and this
Are you sure that you aren’t talking about the styloid process of the ulna? That is the bump that sticks out on the little finger side of the dorsal side of the lower part of the forearm.
The pisiform is a bone of the wrist, but is found in what might be called the heel of the hand… It can be felt by pressing your fingers into the fleshy part of the palm side of the hand…again, on the little finger side of the hand.
I’m not saying you are wrong, just checking for clarification.
