It was reported on Animal Planet that animal control in Michigan would kill pit bulls.
Do they kill any or just those used for fighting?
Many municipalities will simply euthanize pitbulls now.

I’ve never heard of an entire state doing it. Yet. I’m sure if you contact some pitbull rescues, they can give you more info.

According to this (scroll down for Michigan), the pit bull ban in Pontiac, MI has been repealed in favor of a dangerous dog law.
