Pit thread for Martin_Hyde {He has been BANNED}

Ohh nose! A typeo! At least I have the excuse of not being caffeinated . . . if only you and Martin had any excuse for the shit you post.
Maybe you’d like to join Martin in making fun of people concerned about the murder of children?

Sure, claim it’s a typo. It’s really a lack of knowledge about English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Oh, hey, another obvious inconsistency:

Unless 1977 (or 1978?) counts as the early seventies to you?

That I can believe. And some things don’t change, as you obviously can’t keep your story straight.

Your words, not mine. Have some freaking compassion at least for your fictional self, eh?

This entire post is impressively hyperbolic. I wish I could give you some sort of award for it.

Actually people are still crying about the gun control discussion. You’re good at typing up posts but you could learn to read them.

Also no one threadshit, that was just a typical specious lie LHoD made up for his own deranged entertainment.

Affirmative Action is also not a pet topic of mine, as any cursory review of my posting history would show.

Oh, wait, you weren’t a Captain, you were full bird Colonel, that’s great!

Why’d you demote yourself?

Fuck you for your service, you lying sack of shit. But gosh, I would love to see what you put in your shadow box.

Maybe he retired as a Captain Colonel or a Colonel Captain?
And we can’t count out that his real name is Major Major Major Colonel or Captain.

No, clearly what happened is he did such a great job in the Army that he was laterally transferred to the Navy that’s how he bounced between Colonel and Captain. He retired as both!

Well now hold on, Martin… you say there you were elected twice to the school board, but only after you got out of the Army (which you agree was in the early 2000s, right?)

And yet here…

You served only once and in the mid-1990s?

Huh?

Wow. Nice job, @ASL_v2.0.

Or maybe he got his idea of the military from a certain other poster who postulated this interesting rank:

It’s much more true than your life story is, you lying sack.

Ooh our Giant of Commerce & Industry whose blood is being drained by the unworthy. Go ahead Atlas, do the Shrug. The whole world economy will collapse.

Well done.

Following the previous pit thread you linked, he plays the conservative martyr card well:

He doesn’t care that it’s been caught lying because it’s the libs!

Also, from another of your links

So, he could throw a major league pitch at 18, but went in as a grunt instead.

From another of the links:

My bolding

In for 30 years or four years and then some more again? A major league baseball prospect or a football player? 220 221, Whatever it takes.

Reality is for losers. If he can imagine it, he can claim he did it. And we are just jealous of his imaginary achievements, because we are shackled by our real life failures, teaching children, running cash registers, building bridges, repairing cars, doing financial analysis, writing software, running dog training businesses.

If we were really successful, we’d be wrapping ourselves in Boy’s Own Stuff on a message board.

Wait - you were one of a group of “professionals who cared about education quality” and almost always deferred to the school superintendent, but on the other hand you stepped down because you didn’t have time for “political activity”?

I sense a contradiction.

Woah, dude. I’ve occasionally changed the names/identifying characteristics of students in order to keep on the right side of student privacy laws, but goddamn. The level of mendacity here is just boggling. Why would you even?

To #pwnthelibs, obviously. I won’t speculate as to whether any portion of any story the subject poster has ever relayed here is true, and least of all about his military service, because I fear any speculation on those grounds might besmirch anyone with a similar (but actually true) story by way of association.

Interesting as this foray into the internal inconsistencies of your story is, i want to return to your story about being on the school committee.

So, you were deferential to the administrator, which is really the role you were elected to audit and oversee. But

You completely ignored the evidence from the classrooms. You didn’t listen critically, considering whatever bias the teachers might have. No, you just ignored them.

That sounds like you grossly failed in your elected position, honestly.

If you anagram his name, it comes out many dither.

Anyway, on the subject of MH’s greatest hits, pulling from one of the posts I linked to earlier, I would just like to highlight what I think perfectly captures who MH really is:

Not that I think he’s poor (no opinion one way or the other, and it doesn’t really matter), but I think what he says about other people there should tell us all we need to know about him.

Some of you might also be curious to know that MH was actually did some teaching himself (or so he’s said, I mean), but chose not to mention it for some reason.

From my cursory review of MH’s posts related to USMA, West Point, the Army, and purported school board service, “he strikes me as unimpressive and highly likely to have… [just made shit up about himself] for the same reason most people… [make shit up about themselves on the internet]–lack of ability to do anything more important or rewarding.”
