I’d still like to get a Dopefest together for Pittsburgh area Dopers and anyone else who’d like to drive in. Anyone interested?
I checked out North Park last night, and it’s got a bunch of likely-looking places. I couldn’t resist checking out a pavilion called “Leet”, but I think we’d be better off near the boathouse because it’s a prettier setting and has more parking. There’s also a haunted house nearby if we want to do this one evening.
So, when should we do this? I’ve got something booked for next Saturday, the 19th, but the rest of my weekends are free. Also, on the 20th, the Steelers play an evening game so we won’t lose anyone who wants to watch the game.
As far as food goes, in addition to truffles, I’ll chip in a batch of sausage rolls.
