For those not in the know, as of the recent Catwoman #53…
Selina Kyle has given birth to a baby girl named Helena. Batman drops by to give her a teddy bear, but no confirmation as to whether he’s the dad or not. Cute kid, though.
And the issue was written by Will Pfeifer, which amuses me greatly for some reason.
Gah! So does this mean that they’re planning on reviving a future Huntress-as-Batman’s-daughter situation? Helena Wayne was the Huntress on Earth-2 before the Crisis, when she was suddenly Helena Bertinelli, a mob boss’s daughter on Earth-period (a retcon I never subscribed to).
Is still around, and still the Huntress. So if they’re going that route with baby Helena, it’ll be a “possible future” thing. Or at least a little bit down the line. Who’s the new Catwoman, btw?
Y’know, I think Bats & co. might be taking the wrong approach to fixing the population loss problem caused by those supervillains he won’t kill. :smack:
Ah, that’s better. I’m only peripherally involved in comics at the moment, so I’m not up on everything that’s going on (or has gone on in quite a while). We’ve been buying trade format minis, though, and I’m catching up on some things.
No, it wasn’t. He just mentioned that if people wanted to talk about comics, they were welcome in the weekly comic thread. I mentioned Helena’s possible paternity in that thread just this morning. It was a friendly wave that you smacked down.
