It was after/during a previous thread I pretty much came to the same conclusion. I find that at times the subject will dig up useful facts, but anything besides those cited facts is pretty much useless.
Actually, I think that’s a great point. And the reason why I was previously reluctant to put them on ignore. Unlike zero value posters like Octo, who would only show up with recreational outrage and buzzwords, Max occasionally had factual information which was useful outside their editorializing. But this thread . . . well, I made an appeal to his humanity (I know, I was living in a dream world) back #253, asking him to step back and examine what he was saying, only to see him double, triple, quadruple down when he wasn’t dodging like a mad thing.

When Max was willing to stick to factual information, without editorializing or before they showed the underlying lack of affect, they were able to provide useful information.
