Pitting PKBites

Curious use of the “” there…

So you’re saying that sometimes at least your account is a sock account used for trolling?

I can imagine you’d get a bunch of threatening emails from people on opencarry.com if you said anything that may have upset them at all. I’m often told, by gun owners and gun advocates, how irrational gun owners and gun advocates are about gun topics.

Put someone else’s name on the package. Works every time.

Those aren’t my pants!

No. But what you said was. It may not have been intended to be so, but saying you don’t like to talk to people of a particular ethnicity or nationality is pretty universally seen as a racist statement.

In my experience, the best way to respond when you’ve said something like that is to apologize and show humility that you made such a mortifying error in how you spoke. The worst way to respond is to blame everyone else for being offended.

I also know that it’s much easier to point out that someone else got access to your account if you reported it when it happened. If you only bring it up once you get in trouble, it comes off as an excuse. So hopefully you can link a post where you admitted someone else got access to your account and apologized for anything they may have said.

It’s not racist to say that you don’t like to talk to people you can’t understand. Most people get frustrated in that situation.

What’s racist is saying that everyone of a certain ethnicity speaks in a way you can’t understand. Because ethnicity doesn’t make a person speak a certain way. Labeling people that way is racist, full stop.

I’m not racist. I got nothing against Indians. In fact, some of my best friends…

…got nothing against Indians.

I’m guessing they’re reading from a script, and forced to do so, unfortunately.

I don’t think that helps your case. If someone in my household used my account and posted stuff like that, I like to think the people here would know something was wrong because it would be so out of character. But, on the assumption that this actually happened with your account, the fact that no one noticed the difference is rather telling. But, moreso, it’s telling that someone from your meatspace, someone that knows you in real life, someone in your house, knew that posting those things wouldn’t raise any alarms that it might not be you.

You should have seen what happened on another site. Believe it or not it was far worse!

Fyi, if someone broke into my account and posted nasty stuff, i would contact the site administrator, try to get the stuff removed, change my password, and publicly apologize for what got posted. I’d be really clear that i didn’t post it and didn’t agree with it, but i was at fault for letting someone else get into my account to do mischief.

Such a good point.

Some things about ourselves should be self-evident, and oughtn’t require explanation.

If you find yourself saying things like, “No, really! I’m smart!” or “Honestly, I’m not a racist!” you should probably take a long hard look in the mirror.

Why, the same thing happened to me once! My girlfriend … Morgan Fairchild… posted something on my account. Ya, that’s the ticket!

“My dog ate my homework” kind of justification is not a valid excuse for an adult.

The two posts he claims were by this mystery “house hold” member were 9 months apart. Posts which supposedly gave him a “shit ton of problems.”

So for at least 9 months, we are to believe, he was getting emails about garbage things he was posting in threads, getting replies to, actively participating in and… never figured it out. Somehow never saw a single notification, never saw the posts under his name, never changed his password, never logged out.

It all checks out, folks. Ironclad and airtight.

Well, believe what you want. I can take the heat.
I did 20 years ago, this too shall pass.

It sounds to me as though it has already passed through a bovine digestive system.

Dear Penthouse Forum:

You’ll never believe what happened to me 20 years ago…

Exactly. There are four possible reasons why someone might post statements against Indians like Joey_P referenced.

  1. They had a temporary mental lapse and accidentally said something offensive
  2. They are a complete idiot with regard to race relations and didn’t realize that what they said was offensive.
  3. They aren’t racist against Indians but they just like yanking their chain by saying offensive things without caring that they are offensive.
  4. The are actually racist against Indians.

Which of these most fits you, PKbites?

Now if the first was true, your immediate response would have been to appologize for saying it wrong and promise to watch your language more carefully. Given that you are a repeat offender and never once appolgized we can drop this as a possibility.

The second option is possible but would require immense level of ignorance, particularly in light of repeated corrections that it defies belief unless that person had some severe mental deficiency that made them incapable of understanding the basics of human interaction, or had an invested interest in willfully remaining ignorant (e.g. trying to avoid confronting underlying racist attitudes).

I suspect that the third possibility is where PKbites really sees himself. He doesn’t hate Indians he just likes making racist statements to own the libs. But in doing this he is simply using Indians as a tool to score troll points. He doesn’t really care that his statement cause offense to those people or advances/perpetuates discrimination against them because they are unworthy of his concern. Which is a pretty darn racist attitude. Basically if you act like a racist and don’t care who it hurts you are a racist. So option three is really no different from option 4.
