Pitting the Chicago Bears

Well, the Bears only lost by *42 points!

It still looks like aliens landed in Rome.

I couldn’t care less about the Bears normally, however the Bears do need to be pitted. I was busy Thurday, and due to the comsuption of several tasty beverages last night I didn’t get up in time to see the early games. So after a long break away from real pro football I was so looking forward to seeing my first game of the season.
And what do I get for all my anticipation? The Bears displaying a level of suckitude that could not be bested on the suckingest day of the year with an automated sucking machine operated by a panel of world class sucking experts holding a magic sword of suck +5.

I thought “the mistake by the lake” was Cleveland.

I really thought the Bears would do a little better. The Pack, on the other hand, stunk up the place.

GO VIKES!!!

The NFL is due for a consolidation. Use all the players from the NFC central to form one decent, respectable team. Then move them to Milwaukee so they can all do the Chicken Dance in the end zone, if they ever get there.

So both teams lost and lost heartily…just like I said! I am clearly a football genius.

Bears will also lose next week and the week after! Print it!

B-lak can’t do it alone, Mr. Jauron.

That kind of a loss is like saying, “it wasn’t nice to have you coaching here. Bye.” Or, as wolfman noted:

Jauron’s job death pool? I give him two more games.

  1. "How about those Packers!" Wait, I think Favre just threw another pick.

  2. Jauron is gone by mid-season unless he starts the kid. Then he is gone one day after the last game.

  3. At he didn’t lose to the Texans! Ouch! Goodbye Wanny, you sucked in Chicago, you sucked in Miami, and despite being exposed to Jimmy Johnson you still can’t coach.

  4. News flash to the Lions, you can’t play Arizona (aka the extra Bye week) every week.

  5. John Fox offensive genius- start the worst looking QB from pre-season, good idea. At least he pulled him (hint to Mike Martz).

Thank God my husband is a die hard Broncos fan…at least I can live vicariously through his exaltation this year.

My wife is a Viking fan. Needless to say, this was not a fun Sunday in the Hamlet House, at least for Hamlet. For Mrs. Hamlet it was joy eternal.

At least in two weeks the Pack have a sure win. Unless Favre wants to throw 4 picks again. In which case, we may only win by less than a touchdown.

%#^@^**&@%&^@#^@^$$#^%@!#^*@#^!

Translated: I now realize the folly of my ways, the Pack suck and I am embarassed that I ever jumped on their bandwagon. Bret Favre is the devil incarnate, and should be smote with a rust pick-axe. Go Bears!

Yeah I thought the “Whoo Packers” was a BIT premature.

Look I may be touched in the head a bit, being a Cheesehead and all that, but I certainly am not at the “Go Bears!” level of insanity.

Bear’s fans are just Blackhawk’s fans post-lobotomy.

Whoever said John Fox was an offensive genius? He was the defensive coordinator for my beloved Giants before earning a head coaching position by coordinating the superbowl-losing defense of the Jints.

[sub]You try getting to a Superbowl with Jason Sehorn as CB1[/sub]

Umm, that was meant sarcastically. As in, the knucklehead who picks the oldest and worst performing QB (over 2 much better performing QB’s) from pre-season as his starter sure is some offensive genius. Normally I would insert a joke about using subtitles for the Giants fans in the future- but as a Patriots fan I have lost the right to mock other fans for a week. Sigh. . .

:frowning:

Hm… Vikings beat Packers, Detroit won, Chicago lost …

Which means that since the MN/GB game was divisional, the Vikings are at the top of the NFC North and the Packers are at the bottom.

Green Bay has the worst record in the NFC North. I’m just gonna savor that for another couple days.

Worst record in the NFC North!
Say it loud and there’s music playing –
Say it soft and it’s almost like praying –
Worst record in the NFC North…
I’ll never stop saying
Worst record in the NFC North!
