Pitting Traitorous Black Male Trump Supporters

Ok, as I’ve said I don’t think the black male Trump voters were too stupid to know better. They made a calculated decision as I explained they would years before the election.

We see now that the margins in most of the swing states were much closer than first thought, even with the suppressed Democratic vote compared to '20.

I’m not blaming black men for Harris’s loss, but 23% of them voting for Trump is not excusable, and way higher than I thought. I was thinking that most would just not vote.

It’s defiantly traitorous behavior in my opinion, voting for their own perceived benefits.

I think it’s like the US colonists vs. the British loyalists, but in this case, Harris represents the US and Maga represents a fascists dictatorship.

So, I would say that yes, they not only sold-out black people but the US in general, and knowingly did so.

If he does fall into that category, do you plan to “spit on” him before or after hearing the explanation you profess to be interested in hearing?

(And yes, if it’s not clear, I still have a problem with the sentiment expressed in your OP. I also think it’s ironic that you are accusing others of “unending vitriol.”)

This is like German Jews voting in Hitler for a second term, so of course it gets attention.

The Trump voters I know fell into two groups (some in both)
The religious Fundamentalists that believe their version of the Bible should replace the Constitution and we should all be under a Christian Sharia law in the US. Also White Power (but not the racist kind  )
Those that believe Harris would be horrible for the country. How exactly? And how Trump would be better? No real answer.
Also the one commonality between both groups was ignorance. They are not stupid just no real clue on how things like tariffs, the Constitution & laws, etc. work. But strangely enough I knew a lot of ignorant people that voted Harris based on 2017-2021 and empirically know we can’t go through another 4 years of that.

Etiquette would dictate “after”. We could take a poll, though. :smiling_imp:

Well, a lot of that 3 million that did not turnout were black voters. I know for a fact that new black media was telling them to stay home, as I tried to tell this board.

I didn’t think that 23% of black men would not only not stay home, but would actually vote for Trump and the Maga agenda.

I think we can cast some blame on them and the message they spread through the black community, which I also explained here and saw first-hand.

An even closer analogy would be people with undocumented friends and family members nevertheless voting for Trump. I have extended family in
Texas for which this is the case. They either don’t care about the consequences or think Trump won’t do what he has promised to do. Or they think Trump will only go after the “criminals” when he has actually promised to deport every undocumented immigrant in the country.

There was (in)famously a Trump supporter from a few years ago who was dismayed when her undocumented husband was summarily deported. IIRC, she chose to go with him when he was sent back to Mexico. He owned a business in the U.S. and was forced to leave it behind.

I went on and on about why some black men were going Maga, and it’s neither of those reasons. I was right of course but the numbers were even more than I thought.

They chose Trump and Maga and should be pitted as traitors.

I’ve explained the Latino Maga’s. I know this board does not like it, but it’s really no surprise they vote for Maga.

They see themselves as white, so they really don’t think what Trump and Maga is saying applies to them. They really believe that.

So when Trump said the Haitian immigrants where eating the cats and dogs, they were all like yes, they are. They are used to anti- African statements in the they countries they came from, which are just as racist as the US. This is what white people in the US do not understand, they are seen as white in their countries they came from. They then come to the US trying to blend in with US white supremacy.

But they don’t understand that US white supremacy goes back for hundreds of years and most of them are not seen as white in the US. They just don’t get it.

So, when Maga says they want to deport them they don’t believe it.

Black people in the US should know better and there is no excuse for 23% of black men voting for Trump.

Yes, I’m the one declaring I spit on people who disagree with me. Definitely not you.

As for the rest of your thought process, it’s as wrong as the one that led you to create this thread. I’m not surprised, though.

Quite simply, there’s a wonderful term, coined by MLK, Jr. to describe you and those who are happily agreeing with you - a white moderate, with all the negative connotation that implies.

As robby pointed out, Black people aren’t the target demographic for rounding up into concentration work camps. That would be Hispanic people. Strangely enough, they voted more in favor of Trump, yet no “TRAITOROUS BROWN TRUMP SUPPORTERS” thread.

Sit on a cactus, you hateful asshole.

Sure they are, the Right’s been talking bout re-instituting slavery for black people. The brown people are slated for deportation/extermination, not work camps.

What. The. Actual. Fuck? Steppin Fetchit caricature? Really? This is you trying to convince PoCs this isn’t a racist thread (which it totally fucking is)?

You know who accuses people of “playing the race card”? Motherfucking racists.

I didn’t see them using all-caps, Karen.
And if this isn’t wild ranting, I don’t know what is:

Just want to say I’m with chis on this one.

Sure you can pit black men that voted trump but it’s got to be in context of an election in which they were one of the most sane groups and their tiny shift wasn’t really consequential.

If we want to talk about a group whose shift made a difference at the margins then we’d look more at Latinos but even there I don’t like the idea of implicitly giving whites a pass for being majority fuckdumb. I mean, if we’re splitting on race, which I’d prefer not to do anyway.

Alright, I think that’s enough of this thread.
