Bored and mentally rambling, I think everyone should place their cyber bets on when they think I’m going to deliver this baby.
Here’s the scoop on the first pregnancy:
Due date: May 1, 1998.
Actual delivered on: April 25, 1998 ( 39 weeks)
Weight: 6#11oz
Length 19 inches
Labor: 12 hours
Pushing: 1 hour ( doc days one hour, I thought about 15 minutes.)
Here are the stats for this time around:
Due Date: February 14, 2000.
Doctor thinks about a week earlier.
The baby is starting to drop.
So, for the bettin’ pool, to be a winner, you gotta get:

They say the second child comes earlier and faster than the first; of course, they also told me the first time around that labor doesn’t really hurt all that much, so what makes them so smart?

Canthearya, I wanted to do something like that with our son’s announcements with the baby pool from my husband work, but the doofus didn’t bring it home with him and it was forever lost to the circular filing system.
Since I was second born, I’ll go with my own stats:
Due Date: February 12th
Weight: 7 # 4 oz
Length: 21"
Labor (incl pushing): 9 hours
BTW, I like Cant’s idea of a real live birth announcement with photo. And celebrity status on this message board. And yes, name the baby after the winner.
Yeah! What SaxFace said! You want an unusual female name, you got it. I’ve had three friends tell me they were going to name their unborn girls after me. Never happened. So, if I win, the kid’s name will be Rasha. It’s Arabic and means “young gazelle”.
