The light aircraft ended up embeded in the structure of the wheel. I’m guessing there was no-one in the carriage that took the hit, but it was in use at the time. Lucky escape all round, especially for the pilot and passenger, looks like the wheel acted as a giant catching mitt.
I was scanning thread titles rather quickly and came in here to see why a plane hit Fenris. 
Meanwhile it is reported that all spiders in the village are still stunned in awe from the event.
