Oh lordy, it is good to have baseball season back. Sadly, the Red Sox are only coming out to Oakland once this year, so I’ll only get three games instead of the six I got last year. Oh woe.
Time to switch my desktop theme to Baseball, I added some wavs of the late Harry Caray to the one that came with my OS. For example, my startup is “Welcome to Wrigley Field! It’s a be-yoo-tiful day for baseball.” Exlamation point is “Holy cow!” and exit is “That wouldn’t be a home run in a phonebooth.”
Thanks for reminding me. Looks like the Yanks and Orioles are still in the first inning at Camden Yards.
Here in Panama we’re nearing the end of the season. The Championship may be between Panama City Metro and Chiriqui Province (Tierra de Campeones!) again this year.
