Play It Again, Dick - Veronica Mars Spin-off(sort of)

Whoa, there, folks. It isn’t actually a spin-off, but a web series about Ryan Hansen trying to get his own spinoff going.

Anyway, it is mildly amusing and features pretty much the entire cast in cameos all over the place. It has some laughs here and there and it is great to see everyone.

Stick with it until they actually start showing the pilot of the Dick Casablancas show. It’s hilarious at that point.

My favorite jokes are:

  • Keith Mars actor being caught up in gambling debts

  • Cassidy “Beaver” having to remind Dick that he committed suicide, not got murdered.

  • Logan having to be replaced by some random dancer guy.
    And wow, the guy who played Weevil is way overweight now. I was surprised to see him.

Me too until the other day. Trust me, it gets better once they begin showing the actual show Ryan Hansen has planned out. It is hilariously bad.
