“This hashtag is front-and-center of our new communications playbook”
soooo … what’s hot in your organization?

I was part of a state-wide educator conference, and was aghast at all the clichés, some from decades ago (Run what up what flagpole?).
We were all seated at Workgroup Tables With Random People, and our table could not stop laughing and rolling their eyes. Especially at tired phrases like “Work Smarter, Not Harder!” or “Bleeding Edge” or “Our Key Differentiator” or “Onboarding Integration”… or (and I’m still trying to figure this one out) “Keep Our Center Bucket Filled, Without Spilling The End Buckets”.
So I drew up a Buzzword Bingo sheet, snuck out and got a hundred copied, then got the Student Assistants to pass them out along with other handouts. Yes, people were marking theirs until the CFO interrupted a talk to ask that they be confiscated. I got in a little trouble, but the VP at my table loved it, and recruited me for a cool special project.
Oh, the center square was PARADIGM.
(something alog those lines?)

“Modernization,” “synergy,” and “leveregable effects-based testing” are the phrases en vogue at the moment.
ETA: I heard another one today . . . “quantifiable unknown.”
Tripler
I am modern. . . I guess.
I recently learned the term ‘hypercare.’ It’s explained in this article, itself a good BBB card.
Hypercare is the period time, immediately after the implementation, when supplemental support is given to ensure the successful transition of a facility to the new system.
