I have a VX2000 wireless telephone made by LG Electronics. One of the features that attracted me to this model of telephone is a recording feature. People often have to read off long part numbers and/or telephone numbers to me, so I had hoped to be able to record the information for later reference.
I can record just fine. The problem is playback. I can’t find that feature listed anywhere in the telephone’s menus. I’ve carefully read the manual that came with the telephone, plus the updated manual (dated 10/31/03) for this telephone on the manufacturer’s web site. Both simply say how to start recording during a conversation.
I have checked with my telephone service provider for help, but the people there don’t know every feature of every telephone and have just referred me back to the manual.
I’ve Googled for information on the subject, but found no instructions for playback or erasure of a recorded conversation.
If you have used this model of telephone and have figured out how to play back a recorded conversation, then please tell me. Also, I’d love to know how to erase a recording once I am done with it.
