Maybe, but then why all the surprise on the first episode when they were told that there were some gay men among the group? Wouldn’t the questions & affidavits have given this away a bit? Or are these guys just too clueless to have seen that?
Well, I don’t know for a fact that any such affidavits were made, but if the experience of other reality shows is a guide the contestants had to sign contracts before the show started. The contracts may not have said “if you lie about your sexual orientation you lose the money” but I’m willing to bet they include a clause about misrepresenting themselves which scads of lawyers reviewed to assure the preoducers that your scenario would mean no one gets paid.
Going back to a completely unrelated point from my OP, I see that Dan from Boy Meets Boy is no longer listed for the show on IMDB either under the show or under his own entry, and he’s also removed the show from his resume on his own website. I wonder what that’s about?
