So, my little brother, for some weird reason, decided that his PS2 needed a password for the DVD stuff. I can understand why they have the passwords on the thing, so my little brother doesn’t throw “Doom Generation” into the DVD player thinking it’s about computer games and become traumatized, but in this case, all that is accomplished is that we can’t watch Star Wars: Episode III (Ahh shush, we likes Episode III )
Anyhow, my bro says he set the password, and forgot what it was at some point (he didn’t watch DVDs on the PS2 for a while). In case y’all are wondering, my mom backs up his story, so I’m assuming he’s not just trying to get me to turn it off so he can watch Showgirls or something. Is there a way to reset the password, short of performing black majik or having to get it professionally serviced? Is there like, some sort of universal password thingamajibber doohicky for it?
