Playstation vs. Xbox

Me, I’m a PS adherent myself. The games I want to play (including the old ones) are made for it. I’ve played my friends’ Xboxes, and while I’m impressed with what you can do with it, it’s not enough to make me give up the games series I love (Final Fantasy, Xenosaga, Castlevania, etc.). I’m going to be ignoring the new Xbox 360 and placing my bets on the PS3. Anyone with me?

Not me. I tend to not like most of the games on PS2 (at least, most of the ones only on the PS2 thus far.) I don’t like Japanese RPGs, and that seems like al arge market for the PS2. And considering that the XBox can jsut plain do MORE (ie, easily become a complete media hub for your house. Hook it up to a large, media filled network (like a college campus) and BAM, so much at your disposal.) Not to mention the fact that an XBox can also easily be a NES, a SNES, an N64, and a PSOne.

I’m not going to get a 360 anytime soon, but I figure it won’t be long before we see 260 mod chips (assuming they aren’t out already) and new dasdboards and software.

But then, I want a revolution more than any of them, so there you go.
