Pleas don't see "Larry the Cable Guy, Health Inspector"

I’m going to see this movie. For spite!

My first, and only thoughts, about this picture…

They finally found a replacement for Ernest P. Worrell, RIP.

And in doing so, have possibly pigeon holed Larry 'The Cable Guy" further into his role then he could possibly have imagined… never to be taken seriously.

And maybe that’s a good thing.

And maybe it aint.

To me, if this movie is a success, that opens the door for even WORSE films being made, allowing the continued disillusion of the movie industry.

This movie could conceivably pave the way for better movies not being made (or, at the least, released) because their resources are being used to promote a film I would rather pound my nuts flat with a wooden hammer than see.

Oh, come on Superdude – they’ve made all those Ernest movies – can’t you see the lines forming for Larry the Cable Guy Saves Christmas?

There is a market for it, no matter how much some of us may dislike it. Personally I think it lacks the class and subtlety of Earnest, but what do I know. I thought Earnest was pitifully sad.
