The latter is certainly a sensationalistic title meant to lure unsuspecting dopers into a cooky thread. On a side note I never got to ask him if he actually practices this.
I was actually wondering when he would get his own special pit thread. I’m not so sure he really needs to be banned as feel that sooner or later he’ll get bored (or be the recipient or a major cold shoulder) and leave as he has made no progress on any of his pet “”“theories”"" other then being laughed at or bitched at.

Who cares what the bannee thinks? We don’t have magical powers and we can’t take away peoples keyboards, but once someone is banned they are persona non grata and remain persona non grata regardless of whether they think they are or not. ISPs are traceable, people are not stupid and socks are easily exposed. The banned stay banned.

I am an avid listener to Art Bell, and I can’t get enough of listening to Richard Hoagland. I’ve never believed one theory from either of them, but dammit, they’re cool.

I didn’t mean funny so much as entertaining. If you can suspend your disbelief for a few minutes when listening to Richard Hoagland or Art Bell then it’s like your real life becomes The X-Files. Cool.

Ain’t unpopular with me, Lucki. I like reading about wacky conspiracy theories, idiotic pseudo-science and belong to a e-group where this sort of book is discussed. I used to occasionally listen to Art Bell (but since he’s discovered those idiot “remote viewers” he’s just dull).
Donna Kossy wrote a book called “Kooks” dealing with these sorts of people that you might enjoy (she’s got a new one called something like “Strange Origins” about wacky anti-Darwinian theories that I’ve just started).
